Statement of Faith
The Holy Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible
Word of God to man and is the standard for all faith and practice.
There is one God, creator of the universe, eternally existent in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - equal in power but distinct in function.
God the Father concerns Himself with the affairs of people, answers prayer, and
saves those who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is both God and man, born of a virgin and conceived by the Holy
Spirit. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, was buried and arose from the dead
bodily the third day, and now lives in heaven seated at the right hand of the
Father.
The Holy Spirit regenerates, indwells, baptizes and seals every believer at the
moment of salvation.
All people have sinned and salvation is a free gift of God received by repenting of
one's sins and personally placing one's faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
The good works we do following salvation are a result of the Holy Spirit working
in and through us as we yield to Him and in no way contribute to our salvation.
The ultimate purpose of every believer is to glorify God at all times in his or her
thought, words and actions.
There is a spiritual unity of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and His body, the Church.
There will be a future resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked, one
unto eternal life in heaven and the other unto eternal separation from God in hell.
Each human being is created in the image of God and life begins at conception.
Abortion is a sin against a Holy God...a forgivable sin.
